Weekend!

It's been an eventful week. I'm too tired to really write anything substantial right now--but be assured, a better post will be on its way!

Tomorrow-- Hiking at Turkey Run !!!

Update after a looong time....!

I am a terrible blogger. Since I last wrote so much has happened. That's kind of cliche but it is true!

I won't bore anyone with details. (I can just hear the sighs of relief) What I've been up to:

I loved our church's Country Jamboree that ended about two weeks ago now. It was so fun--the skits were hilarious. The music was great too!!

I have been loving our new Single Focus group. Eating at new places, doing fun activites, and enjoying edifying Christian fellowship!

I'm in training for running the Indianapolis Mini-marathon. The thing I've realized during this training: I love food. Kind of a sad realization.

In October I'm planing on going to The Wilds in North Carolina for a conference. I'm super excited! Can't wait!!!

Hmmm. I think that a pretty good update. Will try to post once a week and build my blogger fan base up. Hah! =)

Signs of Spring

I love taking pictures of nature--even better than of people. Spring is bursting at the seems here. Sweet smells and sounds encompass me everytime I step outside. Here are just a few peeks at what I see everyday:

The Gospel

Hi. It's me again. I had a blessed Easter meditating on the risen Savior! Found this video and it was so good! I just had to share it! I get goosebumps watching it. Do you?

Ps. To hear the video without interference scroll down (its a looong way down) to the bottom of the blog to pause the music. Thanks.

Procrastination

Yep. That's me... the #1 procrastinator. I'm supposed to be working on a paper for political science class. But my mind is numb and I need a little break to get those brain juices flowing again. Maybe.

On Monday, a few girls from my Sunday School class got together for a Bible study that we will be doing twice a month. It is wonderful to have a sweet time of fellowship where we can discuss fun things, eat good food and most importantly talk and learn about God's Word. One of the girls hosted the study in her condo. I was so lost trying to find it though. I went up and down the street about a million times and I waved at the same lady walking her dog up and down the street about about a million times too. It was embarrassing and I thought for sure someone was going to call the police on me for loitering. I'm beginning to think I need to invest in a GPS.

Aaron had a fun April Fool's Day at school. For a joke, his whole English class went up on the roof of the school building. Miss M. was wondering where her class was and someone said "Oh! They are having class on the roof." I think one of the guys brought sunglasses, sun tan lotion, and such. I hear it was quite a funny sight. I'm wondering how Miss M. liked it...

April showers bring May flowers. I'm hoping this week will be less rainy and more sunny!

Ok. Back to my paper...boo.

Whirlwind

Life has been flying by. So much to do and so little time to do it. This month has been full of exciting things!! First of all exciting things is that spring has officially started. Yay!

Can't you see the BUDS !!

...And delicate green shoots emerging from under the leaves...

My brother had his b-day too...

I was able to get a lot done today. I cleaned the refrigerator, took 3 huge bags to Goodwill, took a test for school and planted some Italian Parsley seeds. Praising the Lord for His goodness to me!

Genesis 8:22

"While the earth remaineth,
seedtime

 and harvest,

and cold

and heat,

and summer

and winter,

and day

and night

shall not cease."

What a wonderful promise!! Spring will arrive!

ICE

We have had some good snowfalls since December, but now we have been hit by ice. Today and tomorrow ice accumulations are possible. I decided to go out and investigate and snap some photos for proof ;-) . However, in my haste I realized ice is, after all, slippery-- uunfortunately, the hard way. So, enjoy the evidence of my venture to iceland.

Not looking forward to travelling to work tomorrow!! Thankfully, I had the day off today!

Until next time..,

This is beyond neat...

I got chills while watching this. LOVE IT !!!! Can't you just imagine being there???!!!  Just a very infinitely small taste of the heavenly choir.

P.S. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to turn off my music so that it does not interfere with the video *thanks*

Waiting for that day...
Philippians 2:10-11 ~  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
